Did y'all know that 2020 is the Year of the Rat? I don't actually pay too much attention to the Chinese New Year or the Chinese Zodiac... beyond knowing that I was actually born in a Year of the Rat (1984). So - I suppose 2020 is perhaps special since I am (technically) a "rat" and this is the Year of the Rat.
My Mom keeps saying that 2020 is "my year" - not sure what makes her thing that but I'm hoping she's right about that. I just thought I'd share some snaps from the end of 2018 when we went to see the Chinese Lantern Festival of Lights and I snapped some pictures by my "rat".
