It's the second weekend of April - this week has seemed both long and short somehow - I'm thrilled to see Friday arrive and I'm even more excited because this time next week, I'll be off work! Woohoo!
One. Soggy Spring - Well... I'd say spring-like weather has arrived and that wouldn't be incorrect... but it's more of the April Showers style weather, not sunshine and flowers! The first part of April has mostly been chilly and wet with quite a bit of wind - as you can see, the blossoms on the trees have blown off before they've fully bloomed!
It's rained three of the five days this week and the temperatures are hovering around the mid-50's. Here's hoping in the next couple weeks the sunshine will arrive and we will see some warmer and not so damp days! Spring is a favorite - just wish it wasn't so soggy!
Two. A Free Toaster - Guys! How cute is this little blue toaster? Ryan happened to have an eye on Facebook Marketplace last Sunday afternoon and someone was giving away this little blue toaster for FREE! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it - the previous owners just didn't like the color anymore!
So now this guy is sitting pretty on our kitchen counter (that's not our counter in the picture) and I cannot wait to give it a try and see how it toasts up some lovely breads and bagels! So far, Facebook Marketplace has been good to us - we've made some money and we've gotten a free flat screen and a free toaster.
Three. Spring Posh - I know, I know... I hardly ever talk about my little side hustle but they launched a new Spring collection yesterday and everything is 80's themed! There are some hand creams, a sunblock stick and even a lime green face mask that is reminiscent of Slimer - from Ghostbusters - and it's named: Who You Gonna Call! So cute!
My favorite item has to be the Mixtape Lip Balm Set - four lip balms in a case, all themed with 80's names: Grape Scott/It Takes Two (mango)/Sweet Cherry Pie/Pretty in Pink (raspberries). How cute is that? You can check it all out at http://NatalieSummerlin.po.sh
