This past weekend - the last weekend of April - was a delightfully slow weekend and I really enjoyed that. We spent time just relaxing, perusing backyard design options for our upcoming backyard work, and generally just had a pretty laid back weekend. Even that cats got in on the laid back attitude, as you'll see further down the post!
After a lazy Saturday morning - from me - not from Ryan; he's always ready to go out and tackle some project or get going to do something... we headed to Winchester for a little while and made that all important Costco run! We always leave Costco with lighter pockets but we also usually find some pretty incredible deals. This time around, it was the jeans Ryan got for $6! Seriously! What a steal!
We had a weekend of trying new eating spots: Saturday night for date night, we headed to Golden Asian Buffet in Martinsburg and they offered quite a spread of delicious oriental delights! I especially loved the Honey Chicken and thinking about it right now makes my mouth water, ha-ha! On Sunday after church, we popped across the street to Blaze Pizza and made our own pizzas - they were delish! The prices weren't bad and the food was great - that was the theme for this weekend, ha-ha!
As promised - please enjoy theses snapshots of Spook really getting into his Sunday afternoon nap!
After this little lap gremlin slept for about an hour (while I read), I did some picking up around the house and finished the laundry before we headed to MD for our couple's group. The weekends always feel like they pass too fast and this weekend was no exception. The good thing about weekends is that there is always another one on the horizon!
